We've been on the journey of creating beauty, health, and a sense of sanctuary in our home for many years. As we discovered new and meaningful ways to improve the quality of our home lives, it was a natural progression that lead us to sharing these methods and products with other Aussies like us - and so, we created PureHome.

We'd had water filters on our taps and shower heads for ages, and became more and more conscious of what we were eating, drinking, and generally absorbing into our bodies (skin / haircare products etc). It took the mention of a phenomenon known as Sick Building Syndrome to get us thinking about what our lungs could possibly be contending with when breathing the air in our home.

The fact is that with contaminants ranging from dust, mold spores, bacteria, and viruses, to cleaning chemicals, and the off-gassing of furniture and the actual paints and building materials used to make modern homes, the average Aussie home contains air quality 2-5 times poorer that that outdoors. Regardless of our status as a developed nation, the air we breathe at home is considered unsafe by WHO standards.

By testing and recommending amazing products to help combat what is now being treated as a serious health risk, we aim to do our part to educate and empower people to breathe deeply in their homes - just as they would in the purity so apparent when deep in the forests of our beautiful country.
